The work Autumn No. 11 by Wang Wucius was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. It achieved a price of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 13,746.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. Admittedly, works by Wang Wucius have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flourishing Spring in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 58,613.21).

Die Arbeit Autumn No. 11 von Wang Wucius wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 13.746,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Wucius auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flourishing Spring im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 58.613,21).
