The work Flourishing Spring by Wang Wucius was worth HKD 529,200.00 (€ 58,613.21) to a buyer in October 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Flourishing Spring the most expensive artwork by Wang Wucius that we have observed at auctions so far.
