Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Poems In Running Script by Wang Wenzhi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,560.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Wenzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy After Masters in April this year with an auction result of HKD 516,000.00 (€ 526,936.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poems In Running Script von Wang Wenzhi kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.560,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Wenzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy After Masters im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 516.000,00 (€ 526.936,96).
