Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphic Couplets by Wang Wenzhi was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in November 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 10,674.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Wenzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy After Masters in April this year with an auction result of HKD 516,000.00 (€ 526,936.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets von Wang Wenzhi kam im November 2021 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 10.674,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Wenzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy After Masters im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 516.000,00 (€ 526.936,96).
