Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Autumn Encounter by Wang Wenjiang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,543.70). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Wenjiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Children At The River, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,795.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Encounter von Wang Wenjiang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.543,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Wenjiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Children At The River beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.795,30) versteigert wurde.
