Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Seal Script by Wang Ti was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,599.35). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Ti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Seal Script, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,960.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script von Wang Ti kam im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.599,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Ti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.960,80) versteigert wurde.
