It achieved a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,160.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wang Ti; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy In Seal Script sold at auction in March 2014 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,960.80).
