The work Resting under the Pine Tree by Wang Mingming was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2019. It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,170.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Mingming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Story Of Lanting in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,902,500.00 (€ 1,199,948.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Resting under the Pine Tree von Wang Mingming kam im September 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.170,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Mingming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Story Of Lanting im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.902.500,00 (€ 1.199.948,92).
