The work Drinking with Friend by Wang Mingming was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 88,200.00 (€ 10,471.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Mingming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Story Of Lanting in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,902,500.00 (€ 1,199,948.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Drinking with Friend von Wang Mingming kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 10.471,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Mingming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Story Of Lanting im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.902.500,00 (€ 1.199.948,92).
