Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scenery Of Se'Xi Cottage by Wang Luonian was sold in the The Tang Hung and Fung Bi-Che Collection of Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,377.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Luonian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 437,000.00 (€ 40,643.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scenery Of Se'Xi Cottage von Wang Luonian wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion The Tang Hung and Fung Bi-Che Collection of Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.377,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Luonian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.000,00 (€ 40.643,84).
