Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Tree Landscape by Wang Luonian was sold in the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. The price achieved of HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,725.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Luonian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 437,000.00 (€ 40,643.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Tree Landscape von Wang Luonian wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.725,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Luonian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.000,00 (€ 40.643,84).
