Each scroll inscribed and signed, with a total of nine seals of the artist
Note: Wang Kangle worked as a designer in the Images Department of the Shanghai Commerical Press from 1924 to 1932. He later studied landscape painting with Huang Binhong, Zheng Wuchang and Zhang Daqian. In 1952, he began to lecture at the Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House and the Shanghai Fine Arts College. He held solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscapes by Wang Kangle. The price achieved of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,284.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Wang Kangle have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2009 the work Mountains and Clouds was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 10,754.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Wang Kangle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 6.284,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wang Kangle konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2009 die Arbeit Mountains and Clouds für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 10.754,30) versteigert.
