Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wang Kangle was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,597.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Wang Kangle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains and Clouds in November 2009 with an auction result of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 10,754.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wang Kangle wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.597,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Kangle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains and Clouds im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 10.754,30).
