Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Wang Jiqian could be acquired at Christies in September 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Zhang Xinjia auction, the work Snowy Landscape changed hands for HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,495.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jiqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape No. 472 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,980,000.00 (€ 351,746.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Jiqian konnte im September 2021 bei Christies für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Zhang Xinjia wechselte die Arbeit Snowy Landscape für HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.495,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jiqian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape No. 472 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.980.000,00 (€ 351.746,67).
