Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work River Scene and Egrets by Wang Jiqian. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,839.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jiqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape No. 472 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,980,000.00 (€ 351,746.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit River Scene and Egrets von Wang Jiqian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.839,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jiqian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape No. 472 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.980.000,00 (€ 351.746,67).
