Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountains in the Dark by Wang Jiqian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,568.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jiqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape No. 472 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,980,000.00 (€ 351,746.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountains in the Dark von Wang Jiqian kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.568,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 18.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jiqian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape No. 472 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.980.000,00 (€ 351.746,67).
