Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Magnificent Mountains and Rivers by Wang Jiqian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 11,553.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jiqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape No. 472 in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,980,000.00 (€ 351,746.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Magnificent Mountains and Rivers von Wang Jiqian wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 11.553,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jiqian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape No. 472 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.980.000,00 (€ 351.746,67).
