A top price for Wang Fang - as previously expected
The work Landscape After Wang Jian by Wang Fang was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,624.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape After Wang Jian is the most expensive artwork by Wang Fang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Jian von Wang Fang wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.624,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
