The work Reminiscence Of Old Shanghai by Wang Dawen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,970.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. With this result, Reminiscence Of Old Shanghai is even the most expensive work of art by Wang Dawen that we have observed at auctions so far.
