Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady by Wang Dawen was auctioned at China Guardian in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 10,800.00 (€ 1,306.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Dawen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reminiscence Of Old Shanghai in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,970.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady von Wang Dawen kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.800,00 (€ 1.306,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Dawen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reminiscence Of Old Shanghai im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.970,65).
