Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bodhidharma by Wan Shouqi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. The price achieved of HKD 26,290.00 (€ 1,706.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wan Shouqi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View from Mount Jin in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 53,198.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bodhidharma von Wan Shouqi kam im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 26.290,00 (€ 1.706,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wan Shouqi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A View from Mount Jin im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 53.198,31).
