The work A Fairy by Wan Shouqi was worth HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,501.24) to a buyer in May 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wan Shouqi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View from Mount Jin in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 53,198.31).

Die Arbeit A Fairy von Wan Shouqi war einem Käufer im Mai 2016 HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.501,24) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wan Shouqi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View from Mount Jin im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 53.198,31).
