Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 688.00 (€ 951.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Stuempfig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boys Playing in a Square, Philadelphia in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,233.24).
