Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Young Bather by Walter Stuempfig was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 688.00 (€ 951.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Stuempfig achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boys Playing in a Square, Philadelphia in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,233.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Young Bather von Walter Stuempfig kam im März 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 688,00 (€ 951,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Stuempfig erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boys Playing in a Square, Philadelphia im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.233,24).
