Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Figures In A Landscape by Walter John Beauvais for GBP 286.80 (€ 424.47). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Walter John Beauvais have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A bustling Mediterranean beach; and Another similar in January 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,702.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
