Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work The Pink House by Walter Emerson Baum. The price achieved of USD 47,500.00 (€ 44,223.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Walter Emerson Baum have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work The Pink House was auctioned for USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Pink House von Walter Emerson Baum zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 44.223,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Walter Emerson Baum konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit The Pink House für USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44) versteigert.
