Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Heather Bell, in a stable by William Henry Wheelwright was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2004. The price achieved of GBP 956.00 (€ 1,422.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Henry Wheelwright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British The Sporting Life: 12 Paintings Mounted As A Four Fold Screen Variously Depicting Sporting Pursuits in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 37,445.53).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,00 (€ 1.422,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
