Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Rays of sunlight by Vladimir Vasilyev. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,407.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vladimir Vasilyev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunlight, which sold at auction in August 2011 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,517.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rays of sunlight von Vladimir Vasilyev zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.407,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Vasilyev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunlight beobachtet, die im August 2011 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.517,28) versteigert wurde.
