The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,122.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Vasilyev have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunlight in August 2011 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,517.28).
