Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Laying in the hay by Vladimir Vasilyev was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,174.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vladimir Vasilyev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunlight, which sold at auction in August 2011 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,517.28).

Die Arbeit Laying in the hay von Vladimir Vasilyev kam im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.174,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Vasilyev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunlight beobachtet, die im August 2011 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.517,28) versteigert wurde.
