The price achieved of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 51,830.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rag Market In Moscow in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,329,250.00 (€ 1,607,163.15).
