Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ariadne by Vivian Forbes was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,140.00 (€ 1,689.55). Other works by Vivian Forbes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,310.26) in July last year for the work The Dream.

Die Arbeit Ariadne von Vivian Forbes kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.140,00 (€ 1.689,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Vivian Forbes haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.310,26) im Juli letzten Jahres für die Arbeit The Dream beobachtet.
