Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Italian flirtation by Vittorio Reggianini for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,469.30). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Reggianini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Birthday in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 292,000.00 (€ 344,096.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Italian flirtation von Vittorio Reggianini für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.469,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Reggianini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Birthday im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 292.000,00 (€ 344.096,16).
