Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vittorio Reggianini could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work A Basket Of Flowers changed hands for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,929.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Reggianini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Birthday in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 292,000.00 (€ 344,096.16).
