Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Italian the Poetry Reading by Vittorio Reggianini. The price achieved of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,760.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Reggianini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Birthday in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 292,000.00 (€ 344,096.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian the Poetry Reading von Vittorio Reggianini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.760,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Reggianini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Birthday im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 292.000,00 (€ 344.096,16).
