Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art including an Important Collection of Sculpture, which included the work Italian admiration by Vittorio Reggianini. Here, the upper estimate of USD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 206,500.00 (€ 143,642.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vittorio Reggianini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Birthday, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 292,000.00 (€ 344,096.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art including an Important Collection of Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian admiration von Vittorio Reggianini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 206.500,00 (€ 143.642,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Reggianini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Birthday beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für USD 292.000,00 (€ 344.096,16) versteigert wurde.
