Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vittore Crivelli could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and 19th Century European Art auction, the work San Bernardino; A Franciscan Monk changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,733.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittore Crivelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Jerome In The Desert in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 52,374.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vittore Crivelli konnte im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit San Bernardino; A Franciscan Monk für USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.733,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittore Crivelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Jerome In The Desert im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 52.374,03).
