This work of art by Vitaly Gavrilovich Tikhov could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art Evening auction, the work Nude With A Dog changed hands for GBP 169,250.00 (€ 204,635.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Nude With A Dog is the most expensive artwork by Vitaly Gavrilovich Tikhov that we have observed at auction so far.
