Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Seated Nude by Vitaly Gavrilovich Tikhov. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,587.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vitaly Gavrilovich Tikhov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nude With A Dog in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 204,635.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seated Nude von Vitaly Gavrilovich Tikhov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.587,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vitaly Gavrilovich Tikhov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nude With A Dog im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 204.635,97).
