Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Viola Frey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Talking Hands, circa 1989 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 110,075.00 (€ 93,936.68).

Die Arbeit Untitled, circa 1966 von Viola Frey kam im Juni 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.270,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Viola Frey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Talking Hands, circa 1989 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.075,00 (€ 93.936,68).
