Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,453.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Viola Frey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Talking Hands, circa 1989 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 110,075.00 (€ 93,936.68).
