Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Standing Woman, circa 1985-1990 by Viola Frey was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 63,375.00 (€ 60,145.20). Other works by Viola Frey have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 110,075.00 (€ 93,936.68) in September 2020 for the work Talking Hands, circa 1989.

Die Arbeit Standing Woman, circa 1985-1990 von Viola Frey wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 63.375,00 (€ 60.145,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Viola Frey haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.075,00 (€ 93.936,68) im September 2020 für die Arbeit Talking Hands, circa 1989 beobachtet.
