Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il Sogno (Nel Sorriso Della Fede) by Vincenzo Caprile was sold in the Dipinti Antichi, Dipinti del Secolo XIX, Libri Antichi, Arredi, Giade, Oggetti d'Arte e la Collezione del Marchese Nicola Santangelo auction at Sothebys in Milan in June 2011. The price achieved of EUR 36,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Caprile - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli, which sold at auction in November 2002 for EUR 130,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il Sogno (Nel Sorriso Della Fede) von Vincenzo Caprile wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion Dipinti Antichi, Dipinti del Secolo XIX, Libri Antichi, Arredi, Giade, Oggetti d'Arte e la Collezione del Marchese Nicola Santangelo bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 36.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Caprile mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli beobachtet, die im November 2002 für EUR 130.200,00 versteigert wurde.
