It achieved a price of EUR 3,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincenzo Caprile achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 130,200.00.

Die Arbeit Positano. Gli ultimi raggi (La montagna al tramonto) von Vincenzo Caprile wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Caprile erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.200,00.
