Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La locandiera by Vincenzo Caprile was auctioned at Il Ponte in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 850.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vincenzo Caprile achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 130,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La locandiera von Vincenzo Caprile kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 850,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Caprile erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mercato di Pasqua a Napoli im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.200,00.
