In May 2017 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Permutabile by Vincenzo Agnetti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 93,750.00 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincenzo Agnetti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen), which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 182,500.00 (€ 255,271.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Permutabile von Vincenzo Agnetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 93.750,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincenzo Agnetti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ritratto di abitante (Portrait of a citizen) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 182.500,00 (€ 255.271,92) versteigert wurde.
