This work of art by Vincent Malo the Elder could be acquired at Il Ponte in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Furniture, Works of Art, Silver and Old Master Paintings, Musical Instruments auction, the work The Triumph of David changed hands for EUR 10,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 12,000.00 – 14,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent Malo the Elder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Continence De Scipion, which sold at auction in May last year for EUR 30,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vincent Malo the Elder konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Furniture, Works of Art, Silver and Old Master Paintings, Musical Instruments wechselte die Arbeit The Triumph of David für EUR 10.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 14.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincent Malo the Elder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Continence De Scipion beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für EUR 30.240,00 versteigert wurde.
