It achieved a price of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,119.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent de Vos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Singerie Scene With A Simeon Alchemist, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,900.91).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.119,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincent de Vos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Singerie Scene With A Simeon Alchemist beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.900,91) versteigert wurde.
