Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work A chase in the barn by Vincent de Vos. It changed hands for a price of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,147.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Vincent de Vos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Singerie Scene With A Simeon Alchemist in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,900.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A chase in the barn von Vincent de Vos zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.147,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vincent de Vos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Singerie Scene With A Simeon Alchemist im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.900,91).
