Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Glass, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work Unknown by Vincent Bertrand. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,240.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent Bertrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Fine Miniature of A Young Lady In Ermine-Bordered Ochre-Coloured Coat Tied At Waist With Thin Ribbon, Short Curling Auburn Hair, which sold at auction in July 2005 for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,221.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Glass, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Vincent Bertrand zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.240,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vincent Bertrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Fine Miniature of A Young Lady In Ermine-Bordered Ochre-Coloured Coat Tied At Waist With Thin Ribbon, Short Curling Auburn Hair beobachtet, die im Juli 2005 für GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.221,77) versteigert wurde.
