In June 2007 Christies in London held the auction Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work A Young Lady, In White Dress With Gauze Bodice, Blue Sash Adorned With Heart-Shaped Gold Pendant And White Over-Frill Bordered With Rope of Pearls, Centre-Parted Short Curling Hair; Sky And Cloud Background by Vincent Bertrand. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,136.89), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent Bertrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Fine Miniature of A Young Lady In Ermine-Bordered Ochre-Coloured Coat Tied At Waist With Thin Ribbon, Short Curling Auburn Hair, which sold at auction in July 2005 for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,221.77).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.136,89) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
